Getting Cricky Summertime Blog Hop

Welcome to the "Summertime" Getting Cricky Blog Hop!! We're so happy you could join us for this month's Getting Cricky Design Team Blog Hop!! We'd like to invite you to visit each of our DT Sisters' Blogs (it's just half the crew this month -- you'll see the other half next month!!) and our very special Guest Designer, Melissa from Needful Things!! Throughout the hop we'll be showing what we love about.... SUMMERTIME!! From parties and celebrations to campfires and s'mores, we hope you'll enjoy each and every project along the way!! Sooooo, let's get hopping... If you've hopped along from Jennie at Jenscrapstoo then you are in the right place!! If you are just joining me from your dashboard, or reading this via email, please be sure to CLICK HERE to start at the beginning with Kristal's blog (you'll want to catch up on all the FUN!!)... Each of Kristal's stamp sets benefit charity. At least $1 per stamp set goes to benefit the charity noted on the stamp set package. Kristal is donating to the following charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children, Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, E. Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Doorways Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), Wayside House for Women, Camp Good Days & Special Times, Adopt a Classroom, and Autism Research Institute. Kristal will donate $1 for every stamp set sold, retail or wholesale to the charity noted; and over time believes this will add up to some wonderful miracles for these special people. So you can feel good that each time you purchase a K Andrew Designs art stamp set, someone around the country is receiving some good help! K Andrew's stamps are all made and assembled here in the USA, which is very important to Kristal. This ensures all product materials are safe and that jobs are being provided and maintained here in America. You can learn even more about Kristal's stamps (and pick some up for yourself) by visiting her online store: K Andrew Designs: Kristal's stamp sets are perfect for cards, layouts, and so much more... I am ubber excited to show you my project!!!! For my project, I'm featuring two sets

Okay are you ready for it!!!!
Here it is!

Okay so my hubby and I have this wonderful group of friends that we have know for a long time. One of the  families actually introduced my hubby and I. Any way, although we are spread all over Minnesota and Wisconsin we still try to get together a couple times a year. This time it is at our place and I am sooo excited for them to come. Even though it is not until July I have been trying to come up with this for us to do and ways to welcome them. So I have come up with this "Bucket of fun" to help them feel welcome. I have to admit it is a work in progress though. I have a couple food items that I want to put in there but do not want to do that until closer to the time. I will post another picture in July when they are all done! I am in love with polka dots for some reason right now so I found this cute polka dot paper at Hobby Lobby. The ribbon is also from there. The word welcome is from Micky Font Cricut Cartridge cut at an inch. The sentiment "buckets of fun" comes from K. Andrew Designs  Splashtastic Summer.

Here is a close up of the lid...
Inside so far this is what I have... a splash ball for the kids... Have a ball seemed appropriate for the sentiment (Splashtastic Summer Stamp Set)

A kit with tooth paste, floss, soap, shampoo, lotion, conditioner (see saving that stuff from the hotel eventually comes in handy) I used the sentiment "From one fashionista to another, cleave right? (From the Fashionable Friends Stamp Set)
A flashlight so they can see there was around in the house when it is dark or outside when we do campfires. Then sentiment "Shine on!" came from Splashtastic Summer.
Here is a little look see at all the stuff inside. I have a little room to work with!

I also thought I would make these up for the guests. If you saw my earlier post I used this for teacher appreciation but think it would be cute to have around the house. The sentiment "water you up to" is from Splashtastic Summer as well.
