GO GREEN giveaway

Hey all! I have been meaning to post this for a while but have not sat down to do it and today I am playing catch up on all my bloggie fun! Did you know Kristal over at Getting Cricky is doing a fun GO GREEN giveaway! She loves anything that will save the environment and has been coming up with wonderful ways to do so. So the other day on her excursion to the local Starbucks she purchased a reusable mug. What an easy and great way to save on extra waste! I love my reusable mug. My hubby and I purchased a Kurig for each other for Valentine's Day and LOVE using it. It has reduced our trips to the local gas station or coffee shop and we get to use our awesome reusable mugs! I just got a new mug for my birthday and thought I would share the photo I took the day after my birthday with my mug and left over birthday cupcake my friends got for me sitting on my deck enjoying the sunrise! I had such a great birthday weekend last weekend. My hubby, kids and friends spoiled me! :)

So what do you need to do to enter... take a picture with you and your reusable much and link it up HERE before July 14!!

Okay so here it is all....
This is my daughter's 2 Halloween (the first she was only 2 months old). My sweet little girl threw a pixie of a fit when we put her costume on her! She did not like dresses at a young age! She would throw herself down and scream if she had a dress on her. Well when she figured out this costume was like a dress she threw a fit. She cried... she kicked... she screamed in to fairy temper-tantrum fashion! IT was crazy... then she figured out it was okay because her costume got her candy. She was all good then!

I wish I could tell you where the stickers came from but I do not know! They are the cutest set ever though! I am sorry. I even tried to google search but after not seeing them for 20 minutes I gave up. The paper is just a simple grey open cardstock from Hobby Lobby. The stamps came from K. Andrew Designs Fall-o-ween stamp set! It is the first time I have used it and it is soooo much fun! Gives a cute little spin on your project. Loads of fun!

    Here is the set...

Now you will HOP over to my amazing friend Lisa! She rocks and I am sure you will be crazy inspired! Enjoy the rest of the hop y'all! And don't forget to end back at Heather's Blog and let her know you have made your way through the hop!

Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge - Summertime!

Hey fabulous bloggie friends!! I hope you all are doing well this fine Sunday! Today the Getting Cricky Design Team is showing off their fabulous summer fun ideas for the Simply Sunday Challenge! The best part about it? You can get in on the fun and have a chance to win a fabulous prize!

I was trying to come up with a fun thing for my son to take his classmates on the last day of school and I remember coming across an idea on Pinterest but can not find it now to give the site credit but if any of you see it out there please let me know so I can give them credit! (Did I mention I love Pinterest and have so much fun wasting the day away on there?) Anyhow I came up with these little "ball of fun" bags with gum balls!

The paper was from Hobby Lobby's open stock. I used some ribbon that was on a Christmas gift from a friend and of course the sentiment came from K. Andrew Designs.

The word "This" came from Southern Sayings... although I only used one word from this set for this project I love this stamp set! It has been so much fun to play with and I hope to have some more project with it for you soon. If you did not see my Disney ones I have done check out Getting Cricky to see the post of three cards I did with this set.

And the "Have a ball, summer" came from Splastastic Summer. This was one of the first sets I ever purchased and still one of my favs! It has so many different uses and I just LOVE it!

Okay so now it is your turn to get in on the fun! Here is what you have to do.

Challenge Requirements:
  1. Post any Summer-time project of your choice (no back-linking, please) & link up by 6/30/12
  2. Post as many projects as you want that fit the criteria
  3. Make sure Kristal's blinkie is up on your sidebar, and your blog post entry is linked back to  Getting Cricky
