Our first "Well Owl Be" Blog Hop went over so well, we decided to do an owl themed hop 4 times a year! Our next hop will be right before Christmas and we hope you will come back and join us then, too!
One grand prize winner will win a Cricut cartridge and a stamp set sponsored by Erica's Craft Room! Thank you, Erica, you are so generous! Please be a follower and leave a comment at all of the stops in the hop for the chance to win. There will also be other blog candy along the way!

So here are my little projects!!!

They are little post it holders. My friend has one of those fancy Big Shots ( I think that is what it was anyways!). We had a girls day over Labor Day and went to her shop and played! It was so much fun. I thought these would make adorable teacher gifts. What do you think?

So it looks like this cute little purse and then you add a post it in side and INSTANT GIFT! How fun is that!

So what do you think? Pretty cute huh? ;) Yeah I thought so too ;) Haa!

So I had fun with my K. Andrew Design Stamps too! I got to use three different sets.... The one on top that says "Happy Fall Ya'll" is from Fall-O-Ween

The don't let anything Foil your day is from Food for Thought

The "You are...a" is from Food for Thought  also and the Hoot I made from Winter Wishes

Like the stamps? You can purchase them  HERE....

Hurry because she is retiring some sets soon!

Okay so for a little blog candy! I have started selling Thirty-one! Have you heard of it? NO! Well if you have a chance check out my website HERE! Since it is an owl themed hop  I am giving away and owl nail file (from Thirty-one) and some owl fun stickers!! ! I will pick two winners (one from today's hop from the hop I did yesterday for Getting Cricky which can be found HERE) I will pick winners October 15th!

Getting Cricky Blog Hop - My Favorite Things

Hey all! Thanks for joining us for this month's Getting Cricky Blog hop! As you may have seen on Kristal's blog she is looking to retire some sets!!! Out with the old and it with the new! She is busy designing and getting things ready to release some new sets. So we thought we would do a crazy fun hop with some cool guest designers to show off the stamps set that are our favorites! If you have hopped on over here from Lisa's blog then you are in the right spot. If you are stopping from the dashboard or reading this from your email please CLICK HERE to head over and see what Lisa has made (she is pretty amazing in case you didn't already know that!)

JUST IN CASE you don't already know each of Kristal's stamp sets benefit charity. At least $1 per stamp set goes to benefit the charity noted on the stamp set package. Kristal is donating to the following charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children, Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, E. Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Doorways Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), Wayside House for Women, Camp Good Days & Special Times, Adopt a Classroom, and Autism Research Institute. Kristal will donate $1 for every stamp set sold, retail or wholesale to the charity noted; and over time believes this will add up to some wonderful miracles for these special people. So you can feel good that each time you purchase a K Andrew Designs art stamp set, someone around the country is receiving some good help!

K Andrew's stamps are all made and assembled here in the USA, which is very important to Kristal. This ensures all product materials are safe and that jobs are being provided and maintained here in America. You can learn even more about Kristal's stamps (and pick some up for yourself) by visiting her online store: K Andrew Designs:

Kristal's stamp sets are perfect for cards, layouts, and so much more...

I have been a fan of Kristal's stamps for a long time! I was sooooo excited to get my first set.... oh I mean sets! My hubby asked me what I wanted for my birthday last year and I said "K. Andrew Design Stamps of course!!!" so he got me three sets for my birthday!!! I WAS SOOOOO EXCITED! I love them and like many women have an addiction to shoes, I have them to Kristal's stamps! I love the quality of them and the sentiments are soooo cute.

So these were the first three my hubby got for me...

Fashionable Friends

and Splashtastic Summer!

I love them and use them on lots of fun projects! If you have never seen my blog before please check out the many different things I have made with Kristal's stamps! The stamps are so versatile that you can use them on loads of different projects!

SO being in honor of our "Favorite things" these are a few cards I have made from my oldest and most treasured sets!

This is made with an older stamp I had and I used sentiments from Splashtastic Summer and Food for Thought

This sentiment is from Food for Thought. The elephant is from an old Stampin up Set I have.

This sentiment is also from Food for Thought

And this sentiment is made from Fashionable Friends. The little ones swinging is from a Close to My Heart set.

I LOVE THESE SETS and always go back to them. I have made Holiday cards, scrap pages and soooo much more with these wonderful sets.

So now you want the stamps right? Well you can head over anytime and purchase them at Kristal's online store! I promise you will love them.

Okay so for a little blog candy! I have started selling Thirty-one! Have you heard of it? NO! Well if you have a chance check out my website HERE! Since we are doing our favorite things you should know... One of Kristal's favorite things are owls so I am giving away and owl nail file (from Thirty-one) and some owl fun stickers!! ! I will pick two winners (one from today's hop and one from tomorrows "Have an owlsome fall y'all" blog hop I am in tomorrow so be sure and stop back!) I will pick winners October 15th!

Okay so off you go to your next blog.... AMANDA :) She is sure to have something amazing for you! Happy Hopping y'all!

Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge - Happy Fall y'all!

Hey Hey everyone! Happy First Sunday of the month! IT IS SEPTEMBER! Hope you all are doing well. I am super excited for the month of September. Lots going on! My little man starts Kindergarten Tuesday. My baby girl turns four on Wednesday! So many wonderful blessings! I am so excited for fall! I love the change in colors and apple picking, trips the Pumpkin farms, FOOTBALL and so much more. It is an amazing time of year. I am so thankful to be able to see the change in seasons and the amazing beauty around us!

So that being said it is time for the Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge! This month we are asked to creating something with the theme... HAPPY FALL YA'LL! So I am super excited to show you what I have done!

For my layout I used the Fall-O-Ween Stamp Set from K. Andrew Designs!!

Here it is!

Here is my layout...

I have seen the layouts where people put pictures on tags and have always wanted to try it and so I did!!! I don't think it is too bad for my first go at it.

See I even put the saying "Happy Fall ya'll" in my project :)

Here are what the little tags look like.

It was from my son's first field trip in 4K! We got to go to the pumpkin farm and I was lucky enough to tag along!!

They got to pick their own pumpkin and take it home!

They even got lessons in how to tell what kind of pumpkin you have and what gourds are.

As you can see we had a lot of fun on the trip. Let me tell you how I made it. The tags are cut from the cartridge George's shapes at 6 1/2 inches. The ribbon is so miscellaneous ribbon I had around. Most likely from Hobby Lobby. The big pumpkin was cut from Mini Monsters (at 7inches) as was the fence (3inches) and tree (5inches). The little leaves were some left over stickers I found.

I hope you like! I had loads of fun making! Now it is your turn....
