Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge - Summertime!

Hey fabulous bloggie friends!! I hope you all are doing well this fine Sunday! Today the Getting Cricky Design Team is showing off their fabulous summer fun ideas for the Simply Sunday Challenge! The best part about it? You can get in on the fun and have a chance to win a fabulous prize!

I was trying to come up with a fun thing for my son to take his classmates on the last day of school and I remember coming across an idea on Pinterest but can not find it now to give the site credit but if any of you see it out there please let me know so I can give them credit! (Did I mention I love Pinterest and have so much fun wasting the day away on there?) Anyhow I came up with these little "ball of fun" bags with gum balls!

The paper was from Hobby Lobby's open stock. I used some ribbon that was on a Christmas gift from a friend and of course the sentiment came from K. Andrew Designs.

The word "This" came from Southern Sayings... although I only used one word from this set for this project I love this stamp set! It has been so much fun to play with and I hope to have some more project with it for you soon. If you did not see my Disney ones I have done check out Getting Cricky to see the post of three cards I did with this set.

And the "Have a ball, summer" came from Splastastic Summer. This was one of the first sets I ever purchased and still one of my favs! It has so many different uses and I just LOVE it!

Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge Disney style!

Hi all! It is SUNDAY fun day. Hope you all are relaxing and enjoying the day. I know we have not done the Simply Sunday Challenge for a bit at Getting Cricky but that is because we are switching things up a bit as you may have heard. But it is still the same fun and this week I am super excited because it is DISNEY fun! I love doing Disney themed projects. Growing up in Southern California I had a year round pass to Disneyland and LOVED IT! I still have lots of great memories from Disneyland, like being chased around by Captain Hook or even though the characters are not suppose to talk Tigger hugging me and saying "I like her because she is the cuddlest", like I said lots of great memories. SO anyways! I had fun creating a couple cards for the Simply Sunday Challenge and may have a couple more for this week!

Today my kiddos happen to be invited to a birthday party and the theme is Minnie Mouse. So I made this card for their good friend to go with her fun Minnie themed present 

Here is the front of the card. I made using Mickey Font Cricut Cartridge. It is cut at 6 inch and the number 5 is cut at 4 1/2

Here is the back of the card. I used K. Andrew Designs Of Mice & Lil Men (Mouse a -rrific) and Splastastic Summer (wishing you a, day)
