I am sorry the project is not more elaborate but I just got through a big move and I am still trying to find my "fun stuff". But I worked with what I had to bring you a little creative inspiration today! Please be sure to stop by the other girl's sites to check out what they have created!
The song I chose for this hop was from "The Dreamer" and it is called "He Opens a Window" if you have a chance and can listen to this song I think it is very meaningful. It strikes me as being a song of "today" as most of us are going through something in our life, whether it be financial, physical, emotional, family issues, health, whatever it may be a lot of us are going through something in our lives and we need to remember that when God closes a door on us, he opens a window for us to climb out of and live again!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3pyqGude9A (sorry I tried to get it do it would appear in my blog but I guess I am not that computer savoy yet!)
For my creation I made a simple card to send a friend when they are down and needing a little light at the end of the tunnel.
I used scrap paper I had around the house that has a pearl tone and shimmers... the background paper is a paper I got from Hobby Lobby and is just a basic snowflake paper... The card and window cut out was made on my Cricut (LOVE MY CRICUT). I used the Locker Talk cartridge.
The stamping reads; "When one door closes Look for the open window". This stamp is from K. Andrew Designs. It is from the Sympathetic Sayings stamp set. If you have not checked out K. Andrew's stamps yet it is a must do!!! You can check them out here (http://www.gettingcricky.com/p/products-stamps.html). They are wonderful and made right here in the US. Plus, a portion of all money earned goes to a charity that Kristal has researched. Please be sure to check them out and learn more about the charities you would be helping by purchasing these fabulous stamps!
Okay bloggie friends, that is all from me for today! Please be sure (if you haven't already) to visit the other girls and leave us all some love :) Enjoy the day and rejoice for God is truly amazing!!!

Love it! You are so right!! Sometimes we get so busy we forget to look through the open window! Thank you for sharing.
Very cute..I love that paper!
Love your card and your song choice is wonderful. Thanks for the reminder...I too have to remember when a Door closes an Windows opens elsewhere. In fact, I recently made a card for MYSELF that reads that and it sits on my desk everyday. I think I might have to add this song to my "daily" listening.
I'm very blessed to be hopping with you.
Hugs
Brenda

Both your card and song were a blessing. I too know the power in looking for the open door when things seem at it's darkest. The story behind the song is a touching one and one of my favorite plays as well. Thank you for sharing this and being a part of this hop :)
Be blessed today and always,
