Getting Cricky Blog Hop - Show your Style!

Welcome to the "Show Your Style" Getting Cricky Blog Hop!!
We're so happy you could join us for this month's Getting Cricky Design Team Blog Hop!!  We have an EXTRA SPECIAL hop for you this month -- For the past week we've been celebrating the BRAND NEW additions to our Getting Cricky team by showcasing some of our FAVORITE K Andrew Designs Stamp Art Sets...  And NOW, we'd like for you to get to know more about us and our very special Guest Designer (and former Getting Cricky Design Team Sister), Larelyn from Handmade from My Heart!!  Throughout the hop you'll be introduced to each of the Design Team Members who will each share a little about their styles and preferences for stamping!!  We hope you'll enjoy each and every project along the way, so let's get hopping... If you've hopped along from Debbie at DD's Crafts  then you are in the right place!! If you are just joining me from your dashboard, or reading this via email, please be sure to CLICK HERE to start at the beginning with Kristal's blog (you'll want to catch up on all the FUN!!)... Each of Kristal's stamp sets benefit charity. At least $1 per stamp set goes to benefit the charity noted on the stamp set package. Kristal is donating to the following charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children, Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, E. Glaser Pediatric AIDS  Foundation, Doorways Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), Wayside House for Women, Camp Good Days & Special Times, Adopt a Classroom, and Autism Research Institute. Kristal will donate $1 for every stamp set sold, retail or wholesale to the charity noted; and over time believes this will add up to some wonderful miracles for these special people. So you can feel good that each time you purchase a K Andrew Designs art stamp set, someone around the country is receiving some good help! K Andrew's stamps are all made and assembled here in the USA, which is very important to Kristal. This ensures all product materials are safe and that jobs are being provided and maintained here in America.  You can learn even more about Kristal's stamps (and pick some up for yourself) by visiting her online store: K Andrew Designs:

RIGHT NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY! Kristal is offering 20% off all stamps right now at K. Andrew Designs just enter promo code LETSHAVEFUN!!! HURRY OVER BEFORE THEY ARE OUT OF YOUR FAVORITE!! Go ahead... I will wait right here while you order... just be sure to come back to see my project!

Alright, are you back? I hope you got what you wanted ;)
Kristal's stamp sets are perfect for cards, layouts, and so much more... For my project, I'm featuring the

                                       Fashionable Friends

I would just like to point out this is Kristal's number one seller in her store right now! Okay so I have a little confession... when we were told the Hop was going to be about our own style I WAS LOST! Can you believe it? I mean who should know my own style better then me? I sat and I thought and I thought and I thought and I thought so more and finally it struck me! I am well for lack of a better word, eclectic. I bounce all around. Sometimes I like to do layouts, I like to do cards, I like to do crafty things... I like to do it all!!! But one thing sticks with all my projects and it is my love for my K. Andrew Designs stamps! They make all my projects lovable! I am not saying this just because I am on the Design Team and it is a way of sucking up.. I truly do believe her stamps rock on my creations! ;) Okay enough about me... I know you are dying to see my project right??

Here it is!
It is a composition notebook turned journal! I love making gifts and adding some fun "chic" flare. The pink zebra print paper came in a pack from Michaels. The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. The Cinderella was cut from the Happily Ever After Cricut Cartridge at 3 inches and the shoe was cut from the same cartridge at 5 inches.

I added the stamp from the Fashionable Friends  set. I love this saying! It just makes me smile... and it makes me want to go out and buy new shoes :)

I made the shoe with a white paper for a background and then took a piece of velum and added glitter.

I love the way this turned out. It is very much "my style" and makes me happy to write in! I thought about making another one for my niece... that may be my project this weekend!

Well I hope you like my journal... I would now like to offer you a bit of BLOG CANDY... you know you have been waiting for it!

I would like to offer you a K. Andrew Stamp Set!
One lucky winner will be sent a Coffee and Tea Time Mix and Match Sentiments pictured here....

All you have to do is become a follower and leave me some bloggie love! I will pick a winner Wednesday April 25 so be sure to leave me a way to contact you!!!

*** Remember -- As a special THANK YOU for joining us in welcoming the new team this week, you can use the promo code "letshavefun" at checkout for 20% OFF your ENTIRE stamp purchase!! (Just in case you did not order earlier in my post when I told you too ;)) Woot-woot!!  Be sure to take advantage of this special before it's GONE!!  :)

That is all from me my awesome bloggie friends. Please hop on over to my amazingly talented Design Team Sister Jennie at Jenscrapstoo
