Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

Happy Thursday y'all. I hope you are having a great day! I want to thank you for all of wonderful comments left for last weekends Getting Cricky Blog Hop! I have picked a winner of the Coffee and Tea Treats Stamp Set. I used random.org to pick a number from 1-48 and The winner is lucky number.... 22

Pink Polka Dot Scrapping said...
I am a new follwer... Love your composition notebook.. Super cute and I love how you used vellum.. Also when you described yourself as electric that's a Great word.. Amy had us describe us using a word and i had a hard time too.. I do everything.. Thanks for sharing your creation and you did a great job with the sentiment.. LOVE it!

I will try to email you but if you do not hear from me please send me a message with your mailing address! Thanks again everyone for all you do! I made this card to say thanks!

I wish I could take credit for the embossing but I bought the card like this. A pack of 8 from Walmart for 97 cents! Can't beat it! The cupcake was cut at 2 inches from the Sweet Treats Cricut Cartridge.

The sentiments were created using two K. Andrew Design stamp sets...

Food for Thought  I got the sentiment sprinkled with
and from  Winter Wishes I used the word Thanks

Alright! That is all from me for now! Hope you have a fabulous day my bloggie friends! The sun is out and the fresh air is calling my name! Although I should be getting the signs done for my son's school carnival this weekend but they will get done.... I hope :) Enjoy!!

Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge - Give a Hoot!

Happy Earth Day my wonderful bloggie friends! I hope you have something fun planned for the day! I am looking forward to teaching the little monkey's about Earth Day today. I really think my son is starting to getting it. We had the privilege of seeing the Dr. Seuss movie The Lorax while it was out in theaters and I was impressed with the knowledge my son gained from it. He was so complete in telling my husband all about the movie. It was a lot of fun and I look forward to talking with him and my daughter more about it today! Although I should do it more often. The Earth deserves more then just one day of celebration!

Today is Sunday which means it is time for another Simply Sunday Challenge over at Getting Cricky and this weeks theme is "Give a Hoot". I was excited to do this challenge! I found the perfect little owl for it the other day at WalMart. I happened to look down and notice all of these cute little wood creatures on clearance for 25 cents! I was pumped. So of course I picked a few up. I can not tell you all of the creatures because they may end up on some up coming projects for your viewing pleasure ;)
Alright so here is my card....

Like I said the owl came from WalMart. He was way too cute to pass up... plus I knew this challenge was coming! The world was printed off of my computer. I used all scraps for paper in order to not be wasteful and make sure I was recycling it! The ribbon is also been recycled from an old card I got from a friend!  For the sentiment I used three different K. Andrew Design stamp sets!
I used Crafty Friends to create the "Friends of a Feather together" and stars
I used All about Animals stamp set to create the "up" used sss.up? and just cleaned off the sss... and ?

And on the Of Mice &  Lil Men stamp set I used from Sky's the Limit I got the word the and from What a Wonderful World I used the word World :)

See how versatile the stamps are! I LOVE THAT about them! Makes it so easy to come up with the perfect sentiment for any project! Don't forget (and I am sure this is ending within the next couple days, so ACT FAST) if you would like to purchase a K. Andrew Design stamp set you can use the promo code LETSHAVEFUN and it will take 20% off your stamp order! NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY! Be sure to check out the Owly Hoo Stamp Sets! They would be a great Earth Day purchase! They are so cute! I am sure you will love them too!
Also if you did not have the chance be sure to check out this months blog hop at Getting Cricky. The Design Team had a lot of fun showing off our style! I am giving away a stamp set for some blog candy! You have until Wednesday to enter!!

Okay now it is time for you to enter your Give a hoot project over at Getting Cricky.

                                       Fashionable Friends

I would just like to point out this is Kristal's number one seller in her store right now! Okay so I have a little confession... when we were told the Hop was going to be about our own style I WAS LOST! Can you believe it? I mean who should know my own style better then me? I sat and I thought and I thought and I thought and I thought so more and finally it struck me! I am well for lack of a better word, eclectic. I bounce all around. Sometimes I like to do layouts, I like to do cards, I like to do crafty things... I like to do it all!!! But one thing sticks with all my projects and it is my love for my K. Andrew Designs stamps! They make all my projects lovable! I am not saying this just because I am on the Design Team and it is a way of sucking up.. I truly do believe her stamps rock on my creations! ;) Okay enough about me... I know you are dying to see my project right??

Here it is!
It is a composition notebook turned journal! I love making gifts and adding some fun "chic" flare. The pink zebra print paper came in a pack from Michaels. The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. The Cinderella was cut from the Happily Ever After Cricut Cartridge at 3 inches and the shoe was cut from the same cartridge at 5 inches.

I added the stamp from the Fashionable Friends  set. I love this saying! It just makes me smile... and it makes me want to go out and buy new shoes :)

I made the shoe with a white paper for a background and then took a piece of velum and added glitter.

I love the way this turned out. It is very much "my style" and makes me happy to write in! I thought about making another one for my niece... that may be my project this weekend!

Well I hope you like my journal... I would now like to offer you a bit of BLOG CANDY... you know you have been waiting for it!

I would like to offer you a K. Andrew Stamp Set!
One lucky winner will be sent a Coffee and Tea Time Mix and Match Sentiments pictured here....

If you all have visited my blog and know me at all you know how much I LOVE my stamps from K. Andrew Designs!! I am so blessed to be on the Design Team with an amazing set of woman who love the stamps as much as I do! We have a lot of fun creating new projects and coming up with new ways we can use the stamps. Here is the stamp set I am featuring today!

Fabulous right? Plus because of the new Design Team members Kristal is offering a super deal! Right now at K. Andrew Designs you can get 20% off all her fabulous stamp sets code LETSHAVEFUN! You can feel great about your purchase because Kristal is such an amazing person she gives $1.00 of each set sold to charity and all of the stamps are made here in the U.S.A. After you see all the wonderful projects the girls have created this week and with the Getting Cricky Blog Hop this Friday you are not going to know which set to choose and now that they are on sale it is okay to go ahead and grab a couple sets of each ;)!!

Okay onto my creation for today! Here is how it started out!

Yep an empty cheese ball container. I had it just sitting there and noticed on my friend Heather's Blog she created a Disney Fund can for her kids to collect money to go to Disney! So I thought hmmm... I like this idea and my son is all of a sudden on a kick where he would like to get a Turtle so we made a "Turtle Fund" container.
I love it! And so does my son!!! I used the All About Animals Stamp set and made the fun little sayings and the Turtle is cut from Create a critter at 3 inches.

These are the cutest sayings! The word fund did come from the Food for Thought stamp set. I used the word fun and added a d from another word. The stamps are so versatile and fun that there is no end to what you can create!

I cut a hole in the top of the can so he can start putting his money in!
Here is my little man with his Turtle Fund Can! He can not wait to start collecting (he is also seeking donations ;))

Don't forget to head over to K. Andrew Designs and order your stamps set today! Enter code LETSHAVEFUN for 20% off! You know you want some so bad! Plus then you get Happy Mail and can do your happy dance!!! And you can enter to be a Guest Designer over at Getting Cricky and apply for the next Getting Cricky Design Team term! It is an amazing team to be a part of!!!!
Well that is all from today my bloggie friends! I hope you enjoyed my creation today! Have a wonderful day!!

Disney week fun!

Hey ya'll. Happy Weekend! I am excited to spend a fun day with my family. Not sure what we are going to do yet but I am sure it will be a blast. Hope you have fun plans for your weekend. I wanted to share my Disney fun project with you. I had fun creating this last night and hope you like it as much as I do. I think it may be on my top 5 list of favs that I have done... not to brag myself up or anything ;)

Isn't Mickey cute. My son was so jealous I had to make him a Mickey of his own flying his airplane. My favorite part of this project is the saying. It is from K. Andrew Designs stamps sets and it is called Of Mice & Lil Men. I have heard some of you have ordered this because of the projects created this week by me and other bloggers who are familiar with K. Andrew Designs and use her stamps! You will not be disappointed! You are going to love it I promise!! Plus right now if you enter the code letshavefun at K. Andrew Designs you will get 20% off any stamp sets you order! This is an amazing deal and you should REALLY take advantage of it. It will not be offered much longer!
All of my cuts where from Mickey and Friends cricut cartridge. The plane was cut at 3 inches, Mickey was cut at 2 inches as were the clouds and the sun was cut at 1 1/4 inches. I cut the "sky banner" by hand and the ribbon I believe is from Hobby Lobby but honestly I have had it for a long time so I can not remember for sure! :) He just makes me smile and I really really love the sentiment! I know a few friends who could use these words of wisdom this week! Now the question is... who do I send it to?

This is the stamp set I used. Like I said earlier this week... if you are a Disney fan this is a MUST HAVE! Hop over and order it today!  ORDER HERE :) .

Just a couple reminders...
Head over to Getting Cricky and check out the new Design Team Members Gloria and Patricia strut their stuff today! They are featuring the ..."Coffee & Tea for You & Me" and "In the Family" stamp set. They did an amazing job and I am excited to be working with them on the Getting Cricky design team. You can also visit their websites. Visit Gloria Oma's Crafts at and Patricia at Creative Diva. Don't forget to show them some bloggie love and follow for more fun to come! :)

Also if you have a chance to enter the Simply Sunday Challenge - Favorite Project!! You can enter anyone of your favorite projects past or present. Just link it up. You have until Saturday April 21 at Midnight to do it... but do it soon so you don't forget!

Okay that is all from me for now. If the rain moves in early and we do not get to play outside maybe I will work on a couple more posts... We shall see. Until then have an amazing day!

Disney Friday Fun

Well good FRIDAY to you! Hope you are doing well and as happy as I am that it is FRIDAY! I love Friday! I am a stay at home mom and it still has lots of meaning. It means my son is home for the day with no school and by 5 o'clock I have my whole family home for the rest of the weekend to relax and play! I can't wait!!!
I wanted to say I am sorry I did not get more Disney posts up this week. I had planned on it but you know how life is... does not always go as planned. But today I have a Tigger card I wanted to share with you and if there is time later maybe I will pop up another project or two. We shall see how the day goes!

So are you ready for T-I-double G- E-R!

Here he is....
Isn't he cute :) He is cut at 5 inches from Pooh and Friends Cartridge. I think the thing that really makes this card though is the sentiment! "Oh the wonderful things about..." can be found on the new K. Andrew Desings stamp set Of Mice & Lil Men. I was sooooo excited for this stamp set to come out! I think I was number two or three on the pre-order! I had to have it!!!! I love my K. Andrew Stamps no matter the set but I LOVE DISNEY! So when Kristal came out with this set I knew it was a MUST HAVE! If you are a Disney Freak like me I am sure you would feel the same about it.

Here is the set!

You know you want to order it... and now is the time to do it! Kristal is running a sale! 20% off stamps! That is a crazy good deal since Kristal does not make that much off the stamps as is. Head over to K. Andrew Stamps and order now! This sale will be over soon!!! Use the code letshavefun
You will love your stamps I promise!!!

Oh inside the card I stamped the word you which also came from the same set. I just used the you from you gotta friend in me and tapped off the gotta friend in me :)

Alright so that is my Disney week fun. Before I head out I have to tell you about a couple special things.
I know I talk about this a lot but it is because I am so excited. I have been blessed with a second design team term at Getting Cricky! Kristal added a couple new Design Team Members and we are doing a kick off today to introduce the new Design Team and have them strut their stuff for you. The returning Design Team members will be featured later in the week. This is all leading up to the big Getting Cricky Blog Hop Friday April 20 at 9 PM EST. So I wanted to invite you to check out two of the newest Design Team Member today on their blogs.

So if you have the time head over and show some bloggie love to
and

They have some ADORABLE projects for you to see today! I know you will love them.

Okay two more things. If you head over to Getting Cricky Kristal has a giveaway going on. She made a little something for a friend and she is showing it off and if you comment on the project she is giving away a Coffee and Tea Treats stamp set as well as a Starbucks gift card! You know you want to enter.
Also don't forget to enter this weeks Anything Goes Simply Sunday Challenge and a chance for a Guest Designer Spot over at Getting Cricky!

Okay that is all for me for now! Hope you have a wonderful day!!

Lots of love,
Heather

More Disney Fun

Tuesday Tuesday Tuesday... oh how I wish you were Friday. I am tired this week. I need a Spring Break from Spring break ;) haha! Anyhow! I wanted to take a moment to show off my Disney week project number 2! As promised it is Minnie Mouse...

A fun Minnie Mouse layout for the little fashionista in your life! My littlest monkey is three and she loves Minnie Mouse. I have not added the pictures yet but this is for her. She defiantly has a personality like no other. This morning I caught her looking in the mirror and saying "Looking good Molly" but the funniest part was she answered it with "Yeah I know" she cracks me up. I laughed pretty hard at that one. Anyhow... Minnie was cut from Micky and Friends at 5 inches. Her purse was cut at three... the saying is from K. Andrew Design

I thought "You've got purse-onality" was fitting. The stamp is from the Fashionable Friends set.

Like the set? It could be yours! Kristal is running an amazing 20% off sale right now! You know you want to check it out so go HERE and order away!!! Be sure to tell your friends!

Right now over at Getting Cricky Kristal is running a post where if you leave her a comment about your favorite Easter memory you can win a Crafty Friends Stamp set! So be sure to head over there and check it out! GO HERE

Also be sure to check out this weeks Simply Sunday Challenge. The theme is your favorite project so anything goes you just have to link up. Check it out HERE!

Okay that is all from me today! Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!
Lots of love,
Heather

Hey all. I am so sorry I was unable to post for the first day of Disney Week. Hope for those of you who celebrate Easter that it was a wonderful day! So here is today's fabulous Disney creation...

I cut Eeyore from the Pooh and Friends Cricut cartridge. He was cut at 5 inches. The stamp is from a NEW K. Andrew Design Stamp Set.
It is called Of Mice & Lil Men and it is PERFECT for the Disney carts you own! Or any Disney products you use! I promise you will love it.
