Simply Sunday Challenge 3-25 - Easter Blessings

HELLO BLOGGIE FRIENDS! Today is Sunday and you know what that means... yep it is time for a new Simply Sunday Challenge over at Getting Cricky . So this week I was SUPER excited because I ordered three new sets of K. Andrew Design Stamps Sets. They arrived on Friday and I was SOOOOOOOO Pumped to play! I love them. I will be honest I ordered because Kristal release a new set call of Of Mice & Lil Men. This new stamp set thrilled me! If you have not seen it yet check out the website! It is a lot of Disney sayings and I LOVE DISNEY! But well I was ordering I figure I may as well get a couple more sets. So I also ordered In the Family and All about Animals and oh my GOSH! I am going to have soooo much fun playing! I am in love with all three sets and there is so much I can do with all of them! You have to check them all out if you have not! I love ordering from K. Andrew Design because I know all the stamps that I order are made right here in the USA and $1 from each set goes to charity! If you do not know Kristal oh my gosh that girl is soooooo amazing! I love her to pieces!

So for the Simply Sunday Challenge I got to use one of my new stamp sets. I LOVE IT!!!

Here is what I made....

The background paper is from Hobby Lobby. The bunny is cut at 5 inches from Create a Critter Cartridge and the pink and purple "box" was cut from Storybook cricut cartridge and was cut at two inches. I love the sentiment! Don't you? It is from the All about Animals Stamp set.

I decided this bunny need to stand out so I put him on a spring!

Okay so this is a little hard to tell but this is the spring I put him on. He looks so cute moving around all springy like ;).

On the inside of the card I used the sentiment "loves you" which is also from the All about Animals stamp set.

I love this card and can not wait to send it off to my friend for Easter!!!

This is the AAAAAMAZING stamp set I used!!!

It is called "All about Animals" and you can purchase it HERE!! So hop to it and go order! It is a must ;)
Alright I would love to know what you think so if you have a chance please leave me some bloggie love!

Simply Sunday Challenge 2-12-2012 Wedding Bells Are Ringing

Well good morning my bloggie friends! I hope you are all doing well on this fine Sunday (or whatever day you may be reading this!). Today is the start of a new Simply Sunday Challenge over at Getting Cricky. I love the title for this weeks Challenge... it is Wedding Bells are Ringing. My husband and I have been married a few years now and I still have yet to do out scrap album... Mind you I have paper, stickers and the album bought plus about 150 of my favorite pictures printed but do you think I would get around to doing it? Well this week I completed my second page for the album. (I do scrap but I have a hard enough time keeping up with my five and three year old kids scrapbooks let alone our wedding.) But I love the way this new page turned out and SINCE the theme for today is Wedding Bells I thought it was the perfect time to share it with you. And of course what project would be complete without a little K. Andrew Stamp to bring the whole project together.

For today's project I used the Crafty Friend's Sentiment pictured here....

Don't have this stamp set? You should check it out at K. Andrew Designs!

Anywho... here is my scrap page....

The paper is a open stock paper from Michael's and I could not tell you where the heart chipboards came from because I have had them purchased since shortly after our wedding. I belive they were from a smaller shop that is no longer around sadly. The love is cut from the Cricut Cartridge Stamping. And the pictures are of course from me and the hubby's wedding day.

Here is a close up of the stamp I used from Crafty Friend's Sentiment. The stamp actually reads "All you really need is Love... and a lot of paper" but I just covered up the "and a lot of paper" part and it fits so well into the scrap page.

This is just a little close up of the chipboard and word Love I cut from the cricut.

I hope you have enjoyed my scrap page! Now it is your turn... have a wedding/engagement or anniversary project you would like to enter in the Simply Sunday Challenge? The rules are simple...
  1. Post any Wedding/Engagement/Anniversary project of your choice & link up by February 25
  2. Post as many projects as you want that fit the criteria
  3. Make sure Kristal's blinkie is up on your sidebar, and your blog post entry is linked back to Kristal's blog Getting Cricky
  4. Leave a comment at Getting Cricky website under the Simply Sunday Challenge
  5. HAVE FUN & spread the word!
  6. The winner will receive a surprise K Andrew Designs stamp set
See simple right? I hope you enter and I can not see what you have created! Please don't forget to visit the other wonderful Design Teams projects! All the girls work so hard and we all appreciate a little bloggie love! Well that is all from me until next time.

All my bloggie best,
Heather

Simply Sunday Challenge - Let it Snow/U R SO SWEET Week long fun DAY 1

Hey all my bloggie friends! Today is an exciting day! Today we are starting a week long crafty adventure at Getting Cricky... The challenge (well more like the fun) is to use one set of K. Andrew Design Stamp Set on a weeks worth of projects! I LOVE THIS IDEA! Although I could come up with a lot more then a weeks worth of projects from any of the stamp sets because they are so versatile and loads of fun! But not only do we get to do this but it is also SIMPLY SUNDAY CHALLENGE FUN DAY! This weeks Simply Sunday Challenge Project is Let it Snow using embossing. Fun right? I will explain how you can participate after I show you my projects.

Well I just have to say this first I am VERY new to the whole embossing thing so please excuse the lack of ability to do this well. But here are two cards I made up for this weeks challenge...

Since the theme this week is "Let it Snow" I even went outside and took my pictures in the snow we finally got this week. And boy did we get a lot... no more long fall for us. On to the shovel and boots!
Okay anyway... This was my first card. The sentiment came from K. Andrew Design Crafty Friends Stamp Set. I will be using this stamp set all week long to show you how much CRAZY FUN you can have with it (or just plain fun if you do not like to get CRAZY like me).  The saying reads "Bloggie Friends are the Best Friends". This sentiment is so fitting!! I have been making so many new and wonderful Bloggie Friends and they truly become your family! I love my bloggie friends! :) The Snow people came from a Close to My Heart Stamp Set called Snow Friends. The embossing powder is Zing from American Crafts. The background paper is just something from my scrappy pile.

My second card I like a little more. I was getting a little better at the embossing process... not much but a little! The snowflakes in the back as well as the snowman is from the same Close to My Heart stamp as above. Again I used the AMAZINGLY fun Crafty Friends stamp set. The ribbon is from Michael's. GLITTERY FUN!  You have to love that.

This is the AWESOME K. Andrew Design stamp set I used. It is Crafty Friends. I think this set is so much fun. I love my blog... it is like my own little world and everyone knows me here :) haha. But the sayings are just to much fun. :) Especially if you are a blogger! Want to Order it? Check it out HERE

Hi my dear bloggie friends. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! Today is Sunday which means it is time for a new Simply Sunday Challenge at Getting Cricky! This weeks Simply Sunday Challenge is Joys of the Season. We are creating projects that have to do with the joys of the Season!

I have made two projects for you today!

The first is a picture frame I wrapped and hung on my wall!

This is it hung on my wall! :) Looks cute huh? Yeah my kids think so but they want to open it. I used ribbon I got from Michael's, the tag is cut from Christmas Cheer and Of Course I used Kristal Andrew Winter Wishes stamp set! Be sure to check it out!

For my second project my children and I created an advent calendar! I used tags cut at 4" from Christmas Cheer Cricut Cartridge and I stamped Kristal's Winter Wishes stamps on each card... I took several pictures so you can what they look like all together and close up!!

I love the way this turned out and now the kids and I can take one down everyday and they know how close we are getting to Christmas!! Sorry for any color issues of blurriness of the pictures... Maybe Santa will be good to me and bring me a new camera!
